Alaska Sportsman's Bear Trail Lodge is located on the banks of the Naknek River in King Salmon, Alaska and offers the highest quality fishing trip available today. Located in the heart of Bristol Bay, we enjoy fishing and exploring the entire area surrounding King Salmon, which encompasses many hundreds of miles of some of the finest fishing and wildlife viewing in the world. Seasonal fishing offers trophy rainbow trout, grayling and arctic char from June through October. King salmon are available June 15 through July 31 and our silver salmon are present August 1 through September 5. The sockeye, chum and pink salmon are interspersed during these times. If you do not own tackle that you would trust to land some of these trophies, we will see to it that the proper gear is in your hands, before leaving the lodge. Since waders are meant to accommodate a personal fit, we would ask that you bring along your chest high neoprene's or Gore-Tex waders. Alaska Sportsman's Bear Trail Lodge is a full service lodge, located immediately on the water, you have only a short walk between you and the Naknek River. Nestled in a peaceful, wilderness location, your stay at the lodge is guaranteed relaxing. Your accommodations are private, well-appointed rooms or cabins, with private baths. We limit our guest list, crowding is never a problem. Your meals are healthy, hearty and home cooked by your host. Hard liquor is not included, but you are welcome to bring your own.
